Striving to be the best you can be is a never ending journey and you can never get enough training. I attended a Bridal workshop run by the very talented Mr Neil Bowler. He has an uncanny ability of “seeing the light” and it was a pleasure to watch him work and pass on his skills and techniques. What was interesting is that we were at a fantastic and grand venue, Compton Verney in Warwickshire, but the images we came away with can be reproduced in most places as long as you “see the light” Here are some of the images I produced on the day – The supporting cast: Models, Jase Dean, Jenny McRobie. Make up: Candice Fuller, Jaclyn Stewart. Dresses: Sammie Lou Bridal Couture – Thank you all for a great day!
Also in this gallery: Having worked before with Andrew Appleton I was delighted when he announced that he was going to be hosting a Fashion Workshop in Paris, then to top it off he announced that our models would be the two gorgeous and talented ladies, Angela Hudson and Jen Brook, and the cherry on the top was the makeup would be by Donna Graham.
The object of this workshop for me was to adapt the styles learnt on the workshop to open up my creativity for my wedding photography, give my brides that something extra and make them look and feel a million dollars. These techniques are used at most weddings.
More recently I attended the “Masters of Photography workshop” and learnt so much from the very talented Julie Oswin, Kevin Pengelly and Paul Callaghan. It was a weeks course at the luxurious Hoar Cross Hall. The food was fantastic, the company just awesome and it felt more like a holiday than work. What a great week!
